Just when we thought things couldn’t get worse, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away. The despicable Senate Majority leader, Mitch McConnell, who three years ago set a precedent saying that ‘we need to wait for a new president before confirming a nominee ahead of an election’ has now reneged on that precedent. And the horrible Lindsay Graham, leader of the Senate Judiciary Committee, who said three years ago “I want you to use my words against me, If there’s a Republican president in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say Lindsey Graham said let’s let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination.”

What happened to those statements?

We need to push back, take to the streets, tell our Senators that we can not have a Supreme Court Justice Appointed before the Election!!

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will continue to live in our collective hearts. She stood up for gender equality and civil rights for all beings.
