We Need the Governor to Sign the Birds and Bees Protection Act!

Join the Center for Science in the Public Interest in Protesting the Merger of Kroger and Albertsons!
Do you want a grocery giant controlling 22% of our entire retail food market? That would be the reality if this merger goes through!
Right now, Walmart controls over 28% of the retail food market. If we allow Kroger to purchase Albertsons, then half of the retail food market would be controlled by just two companies, doing away with competition and causing prices to go up.
The Center for Science in the Public Interest is calling on the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to block the merger to protect competition and consumers.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest has joined forces with Stop the Merger coalition, led by local chapters of the United Food and Commercial Workers and other labor and economic justice organizations concerned with job losses, higher food prices, and negative impacts on farmers and suppliers resulting from the merger.
