Biden Moves To Have the U.S. Rejoin the Paris Climate Accord

Back in 2015, the our country played a major role in creating the Paris Climate Accord, which was the largest international effort to curb global warming. Trump had put an end to that! The agreement was to limit the global rise of temperature to no more than 2 degrees Celsius, and preferably less than 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2100.

Rejoining the agreement will not be that difficult, but meeting the target of reducing our green house gas emissions will be. Right now, the U.S. is the second-largest producer of carbon emissions next to China, and we are responsible for more to global climate change than any other country.

 

Water is the New Commodity for Investors!

It’s a scary moment for our planet, when water becomes a commodity that can be traded, just like oil and gas.

Private investors have realized that the scarcity of water is an opportunity for them to capitalize on the shortage, and to make big dollars in the market. What used to be handled by municipal water utilities, is now being bought up by investment funds, transferring water from rural areas to cities where water is in short supply.
