The World Central Kitchen (WCK) is one of my favorite organizations, led by the amazing chef José Andres. They go into disaster regions around the world, and feed those in need.

On February 6, a pair of powerful earthquakes devastated more than a dozen cities throughout central and southern Türkiye and northern Syria. WCK’s Relief Team is on the ground in Türkiye now, distributing meals to survivors and first responders while working to scale up as quickly as possible.

Innocent Ukrainians have now lived under constant attack for 12 months—countless lives have been lost and millions of people are displaced. The situation remains unpredictable, but still, Ukranians continue to courageously stand for freedom and democracy every single day.

 WCK remains deeply committed to the people of Ukraine—they arrived in Poland within hours of the initial invasion, quickly expanding in Ukraine to build one of the largest food relief operations in the country. And this effort continues to be led by Ukrainians helping Ukrainians, ensuring food is not yet another thing that families have to worry about.
