I don’t envy Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. The State of Our Union is a divided one, and unfortunately it is not going to disappear today, once they are sworn in. It is going to be a long, arduous road, but being the optimist I am, I believe we can do it! It is going to take patience and perseverance, love, compassion and understanding, but with honest, direct leadership, I believe this country can begin to heal.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will hit the ground running, with their $1.9 trillion economic relief package, and an agenda to address the pandemic and vaccination program, climate change, voting rights, and immigration reform. Let’s work to get the re-vamping our our food system on that list!  It will take all of us to help make these changes a reality, but we can do it!!
