Home Births Save Money and Improve Care for Both Mother and Child!

The U.S. has the worst women and child mortality rate of any industrialized western country, yet the cost of that service is higher than any other country. Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) provide affordable, quality, community-based care that is proven to reduce costly and preventable interventions, as well as the rate of low-birth, weight, and premature births. Home births cost less than hospital births, but most insurance companies won’t cover the cost of midwives, so check with your insurance. During the pandemic, a hospital is the last place you want to go, and a home birth option allows you to have your loved ones in the room with you.

If you are pregnant, or going to become pregnant, think about your options.
