The Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) Partners with NOFA-NY!

The Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) has partnered with non-profit organizations across the U.S. to assist them in transitioning farmers to organic production. The USDA is investing up to 100 million dollars over the next five years to build a support system for farmers who want to transition to organic. The program will connect transitioning farmers with mentors, pay to build mentoring networks while sharing practical insights and advice, and provide community building opportunities. Technical assistance, business development, marketing, and education support will be available through workshops and field days in the different regions.
