iEat Green is Getting Ready for Spring! Steven Druker, Author of “Altered Genes, Twisted Truth” Joins Bhavani on the Progressive Radio Network

Hi Everyone,

I was traveling this past week, and it was so exciting to return home and see the signs of Spring everywhere! The perennial bulbs are pushing through the earth with their beautiful colors and the chrysanthemums are just starting to bloom. The first leaves on the trees have that bright lime green color to them, and our bees are taking to flight. At the same time, I see all of the work that needs to be done; repairing the raised beds, adding compost to the gardens, mulching the flower beds, setting up the fences around the gardens, pruning the dead branches, and cleaning up all of the winter’s debris. There just never seems to be enough time, but I love the challenge!

I am very excited to introduce to all of you my guest this week, Steven Druker. He is the author of; Altered Genes, Twisted Truth: How the Venture to Genetically Engineer our Food has Subverted Science, Corrupted Government and Systematically Deceived the Public, and I have been trying to get him on my show since the book came out in 2015. Steven Druker is a public interest attorney who founded the Alliance for Bio-Integrity and, as its executive director, initiated a lawsuit that forced the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to divulge its files on genetically engineered (GE) foods. This revealed that politically influenced administrators had covered up the extensive warnings of their own scientists about the abnormal risks, misrepresented the facts, and then allowed these novel products onto the market without requiring the testing that’s mandated by federal food safety law. His book is an exposé of what goes on behind closed doors, and is a very important read. Jane Goodall said it is “without doubt one of the most important books of the last 50 years.” Please join me on Thursday for my interview with Steven Druker, and find out the truth about GMO foods!
