iEat Green: An Interview with Iman Marghoob

Hi All,

Yesterday, I had a wonderful interview with Iman Marghoob, Community Gardens Coordinator at Stony Brook University’s Department of Family imanMedicine. The work she has done there, not only in the rooftop farm, which feeds the patients at Stony Brook Hospital, but in the development of ten community gardens in low income communities, has impacted the lives of so many. Getting a community garden off the ground requires negotiating lots of red tape, and the work Iman has done, has helped to streamline the process and make it much simpler. If you are interested ins starting a community garden, I suggest you listen to our interview, and contact Iman directly at Iman.Marghoob@stonybrookmedicine.edu
