An Interview with Fumi Tosa, Co-Founder of Table for Two

Hi All,

This is a very exciting, event filled week for me, as I gear up for the big, Keystone XL Pipeline protest in Washington, on Sunday! On Thursday, I will be attending the seminar “Bringing Policy to the Table” at Columbia’s Teachers College, and then on Saturday, I will be in the audience for the TEDx Manhattan Conference, with a pre-event on Friday and a culmination dinner on Saturday night. So much for going to bed early! I will be up at the crack of dawn, to take the Long Island bus to DC for the biggest Climate Change protest in the history of our country. I hope many of you are planning on coming! As I say every week, we need to all stand up and have our voices heard. We need to show our politicians that the future of our planet, and the health of the people, are more important than the profits for large corporations. That is the only way we can compete with all the money coming from the lobbyists!  Please join us and feel the movement!

This week, on iEat Green radio on the Progressive Radio Network, I will be interviewing Fumi Tosa, from the international organization, Table For Two. Table for Two is the only organization I know of, that is trading calories from cultures that are eating too much, and financing cultures that need more. It’s kind of a “cap and trade” deal for food, instead of carbon emissions. To find out more about this unique organization, join me on Thursday at 10am, and learn about the universities that are already participating.

Remember, my show is recorded live, every Thursday, from 10-11 am, EST. If you want to call in during the show with any questions for me or my guest, the call in number is 888-874-4888.

If you can’t tune in at that time, you can listen to the show in the PRN archives, or on my website, or through iTunes. You can also access the show by calling in to The Progressive Radio Network at (832) 280-0066.

Please rate the show and leave comments on iTunes and on my website. Thanks!

In peace and love,
Bhavani
