Take Action: This Thursday, You are Needed to March Against the Williams Pipeline! Join a CSA Today!

The Williams Pipeline is still an issue, and we need to make sure Governor Cuomo doesn’t sign the permit! Pipelines leak, it’s a fact! And having one go right through New York Harbor is insane! The reasons are obvious! Please show your support and come out for the Stop the Williams Pipeline Rally and March!

It’s this Thursday, April 18

5:30 – Meet at City Hall Park East (15 Centre St)

6:00 – Rally with indigenous and youth climate leaders & elected officials

6:30pm – March across the Brooklyn Bridge

New Yorkers have stopped pipelines before and we know we can stop the Williams NESE fracked gas pipeline, but it’s going to take all of us.  See you on the Brooklyn Bridge on Thursday!

Our CSA Fair this past weekend was a huge success, and many people signed up to join a Community Supported Agriculture Program! People got to choose between farms that have drop off points conveniently located to their homes, or ones where they get to go to the farm and pick their own vegetables. Some have community days, some have “add-on” products like eggs, flowers, fruit, fish or meat, and some require working hours, but what they all have in common is delivering a fresh weekly supply of vegetables to members, at a fair price. If you missed our Fair, you can find the farms on the Slow Food North Shore website!
