Take Action: Support Community Solidarity’s Toy Drive; Tell Governor Cuomo to Keep Fracked Gas Trucks Off Our Roads!

Community Solidarity is collecting new and used toys to share with thousands of families in need across Long Island. You can donate, and help share the items you bring at one of their food share locations.

From now until Dec. 24th Community Solidarity is organizing a massive toy drive for the thousands of families they assist each week.

They’ll be distributing toys in a COVID safer socially distanced manner, along with their food distribution.

You’re invited to drop off toy donations (new & used toys) at any of their Food Share locations, and you’re also invited to join them as they share those toys on the following dates.

Thursday, Dec. 17th @7pm – at our Farmingville Food Share
Saturday, Dec. 19th @3pm – at our Bedstuy Food Share
Sunday, Dec. 20th @2pm – at our Hempstead Food Share
Tuesday, Dec. 22nd @7pm – at our Huntington Food Share

Tell Governor Cuomo to Keep Fracked Gas Trucks Off Our Roads!

National Grid is petitioning the Governor to allow a fleet of trucks, filled with dirty fracked gas, to transport the liquified fracked gas (LNG) to Greenport and compressed fracked gas(CNG) to Long Island. These trucks are explosive and pose enormous safety risks, should one rollover or get into an accident. They will explode like a bomb!

Call Governor Cuomo at 877-235-6537 and tell him to stop National Grid’s proposal for fracked gas trucks.

Sign this petition to Mayor de Blasio calling on him to reject any LNG trucking which is currently illegal in New York City!
