Take Action: Demand Media Attention on Climate Change! Join the Organic Movement and Grow Some Veggies this Year!

Tell ABC, CBS and NBC it’s time to put the spotlight on climate change.

The climate emergency is less than a decade away, and the media could be doing more to bring the public’s attention to this very important issue. But they’re not! TV networks continue to ignore this looming threat, and we are asking the public to speak out. The petition we are asking you to sign, tells ABC News, CBS News and NBC News to “Cover the climate crisis with the urgency it deserves.”

Take action now.

NOFA-NY (The Northeast Organic Farming Association-NY) is Encouraging Us to Grow Some Veggies by Offering On-Farm and Virtual Field Days!

NOFA-NY is excited to bring a series of on-farm and virtual field days to Long Island this year! All field day events are free of charge, and they’ll be taking precautions at in-person events to keep everyone safe.

The field days below are offered through the Long Island Organic Transition Program, which provides technical and financial assistance to organic farmers or farmers who want to transition to organic, here on Long Island. Learn more about this program on our their website.
