In New York State, if you want to vote in any party’s 2020 primary, you must be registered in that party by this Friday, February 14th!
How? Register online here if you have a New York State driver’s license or non-driver state ID. Download printable
registration forms here to mail in your registration. If you haven’t done it yet, you will need to send it overnight mail, so that they have it in their office by tomorrow! You’re not committed to one party for life; you can always change your party again after the primary if you choose to.
When? You MUST have your registration form into the board of elections by February 14 — Valentine’s Day. Not postmarked, not sitting on your kitchen table, not at the DMV — actually delivered to and received by the Board of Elections.
Why? Because New York tends to go blue in General Presidential Elections, the primary is the only chance to have your voice heard and your vote counted.
The National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC) has drafted a Farmer Letter on Climate Change and already over 2000 farmers and ranchers have signed on. But they need more signatures! They want the voices of farmers to be in the conversation when Climate Change is discussed. PLEASE, if you are a farmer or rancher, sign the letter, it’s available in both English and Spanish. If you are not a farmer or rancher, please share it with the farmers you know. Help NSAC boost the letter to over 3,000 signers by the end of February! Thanks!
