In the News: Most People Ingest the Equivalent of a Credit Card per Week

I know it is hard to believe, but that is a fact. (If you are one of those who still believes in real facts?) Our plastic problem is only getting worse by the day, and it never goes away! The plastic that ends up in the ocean, doesn’t break down, it just breaks up into smaller pieces, known as micro-beads, which we ingest in our drinking water and in our fish consumption. In the United States, 94.4% of tap water samples contained plastic fibers, while in Europe, the average in was only 72.2 %. (Both are bad!) According to a study from the World Wildlife Fund International, the average person in this country eats the equivalent of a credit card per week!!

And we wonder why we are sick?
