It’s hard to think about Summer in the middle of Winter, but if you know any high schoolers who are looking for a great paid internship, you will want to grab it now! The Green Ambassador Internship is part agricultural training and part peer-to-peer education. Interns will learn valuable skills while teaching 10-15 middle school students about gardening, cooking, and the environment. NYC’s Recycle Program is at Risk!

China doesn’t want our garbage anymore, and with the cost of recycling, it’s hard to make money. It’s a complicated issue, with homeless people collecting the bottles and cans that can be redeemed for money, and people putting non-recyclable items in the recycle bins, it seems the whole program is at risk.
