iEat Green Shares Interview with Grace Gershuny, Author of Organic Revolutionary!

Hi All,

Yesterday I interviewed Grace Gershuny for my second time, to talk about the new edition of her book, Organic Revolutionary: A Memoir of the Movement for Real Food, Planetary Healing, and Human Liberation.

The book was wonderful when it first came out, and now it is even better, as it includes new voices from communities of color, and addresses issues around food sovereignty, land access, soil management, and agriculture’s impact on the climate crisis.

Grace  has been involved with the organic movement since the 70’s, and served on the staff of USDA’s National Organic Program, where she helped write the first organic regulations.

Grace currently works as an independent organic inspector, as well as a consultant for private and non-profit clients on all aspects of organic certification, developing related standards and certification systems, and training programs. If you missed our interview, you can listen to it here!
