iEat Green is Back for One Last Show! Glenda Yoder, Associate Director of Farm Aid, Joins Bhavani on PRN!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are ready for any new beginnings that may be coming your way! My summer was mostly occupied with moving our family business from one location to another, after our landlord died and the building was sold. Interspersed with the move, I managed to share many good times with my family and friends, celebrating weddings, babies, and other life cycle events.

With the summer months off, I had time to reflect on my years at the Progressive Radio Network, and all of the wonderful people I met and interviewed over the past 12 years. I have loved every moment of it, but I also realized that it was time for me to step down from this role, so I can be more present in my other roles. Since the pandemic, I have been working with my husband in our architectural metal and glass company, Jaroff Studio, where I can once again tap into my history as an artist, and help create beautiful works of art. Check out our website at Jaroff.com! But before leaving, I have one last interview, which I am so excited about!!

Glenda Yoder, Associate Director of Farm Aid, Joins Bhavani on PRN!

Glenda Yoder, the Associate Director of Farm Aid, the awesome non-profit organization that Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp started in 1985, will be joining me tomorrow on the Progressive Radio Network. I am so excited to be interviewing Glenda, and learning more about Farm Aid and the upcoming concert that is scheduled for Saturday, September 24th in Raleigh, NC.

Farm Aid’s mission is to build a vibrant, equitable, family farm-centered system of agriculture in America. Glenda invites people to participate in the culture of agriculture by promoting hands-on experiences of soil, water, food and farming at the annual concert’s HOMEGROWN Village which connects people to the source of our food–our farmers. HOMEGROWN Concessions® transforms food at Farm Aid concerts by serving only sustainably grown food from family farms with a fair price to the farmers, a first in the music business. Glenda loves farmers markets as well as her backyard garden in Boston.

I hope you can join us tomorrow for a great interview!
