I just back from a family weekend up in Syracuse for my niece’s wedding. It was so beautiful to be up in the Finger Lakes Region! We had the day to ourselves to explore the area, so I looked up the local farmers market. I realized that if you want to get a taste of a town, going to the local farmers market is a great way to do it. In Syracuse, they have a huge regional market which sells produce and local homemade products on Saturday, and on Sunday, it turns into a huge flea market with only a little produce scattered around. The place was filled with so many different types of people. It was a perfect slice of Syracuse!
