I can’t believe this weekend is the big prepping event for our Thanksgiving Feast! I remember my grandfather talking about how time speeds up when you get older, and I didn’t understand what he meant. Well, I do now! It seems like it was only a few months ago that we celebrated Thanksgiving, and here we are now, once again, coming together to take care of those in our community who are less fortunate than us. May this Thanksgiving be filled with grace, gratitude and peace, and may you all be surrounded by those you love (or need to love!)

He is the Founder and President of the Peconic Land Trust , a non profit land conservation organization that has saved thousands of acres of farm land from further development, while securing the perpetual protection of that farm land. ?A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of watching a new documentary film called, Growing Farmers, that was produced by the Peconic Land Trust, and talked about our Long Island Farmers, and the struggles that face our new generation of farmers.
