The passion and love he brings to his work and to the children he works with is palpable. His new book, The Power of a Plant is his epic story about how he got started from a Special Ed teacher in one of the worst schools in the South Bronx, to an award winning, all inspiring teacher and founder of the Green Bronx Machine, using gardening as a classroom, to teach his kids about life, food, health and success.
