iEat Green: An Interview with Michael Dimin

Hi All,

Yesterday, I had a wonderful interview with Michael Dimin, the founder of Sea to Table. I loved the story behind the founding of the company. It started when they took a family trip to the island of Tobago and saw all of this 230305_145593452180493_3224852_nbeautiful, bountiful, fish being line caught, yet there was no market for the fisherman to sell their fish. Michael realized that this situation was probably happening, not only in Tobago, but all around the country at different docks. He had the idea of connecting the fisherman directly to chefs and restauranteurs, creating a market for the fisherman, and at the same time, providing chefs with the freshest seafood available. Ten years later, Sea to Table is blossoming and is now providing, not only restaurants, but also Universities, with fresh fish that is traceable to the fisherman. It is one of those win-win situations, that makes a perfect marriage. I asked Michael about supplying food coops with his fish, and he is very open to it, so give him a call!
