This November, Get Out and Vote for Our Local Democrats!
This November’s election will be our opportunity to let the Republicans know how disappointed we are in our government by flipping every seat we can! Let’s start with our local candidates!
Seth Koslow is running for Nassau County Supervisor. Although he may not be as progressive as I would like, he is a big improvement over Bruce Blakeman, who put together his own personal militia of gun owners to use when he feels like it.
Sam Sochet is running for Town Supervisor for Oyster Bay, and he is really great! He is someone with real vision and will get things done.
Dave Kerpen is running for the Town of North Hempstead Supervisor, and he is promising to lower our taxes, support small business and affordable housing. We need all of them!!
Join a Protest or Two!
If Amy was alive today, she would be joining me next weekend for the Women’s March, “Make Billionaire’s Pay” on Saturday, September 20th and on Sunday, September 21st for the Sun Day- Rise Up for a Sun-Powered Planet. Both of these protests are designed to build community resistance against the authoritarian regime that is taking over this country. These protests will be taking place all across the country. We need this to be a huge message to the people in Congress who are not doing their job, that they better start stepping up, or move out of the way, because we are going to the polls!
