Suffolk Alliance for Pollinators (SAP) and ReWild West Suffolk Sustainable Garden Tour 2025 

Wednesday, August 20th, 9:30 am – 1:30 pm

Featuring 7 gardens in the Northport and Town of Huntington area. 

We’re excited to showcase some of our community’s native gardens—lovingly created by friends and neighbors! These sustainable green spaces offer inspiration and lessons (even from what didn’t quite work!) and feature native and pollinator-friendly plants.

Across the island, more and more gardeners are rethinking traditional lawns, skipping the chemicals, and embracing native plants while turning away from invasive or exotic species. This shift benefits not only birds, pollinators, and other local wildlife—but also helps protect the Long Island Sound and our aquifer.

These tours are free and open to the public. Tour details, including garden times and addresses, will be handed out at the start of the tour at: Harborfields Public Library. 31 Broadway, Greenlawn, NY. 9:30 am
