Join today’s rally, Wednesday, Aug. 7, 12pm-1pm, in front of Governor Cuomo’s Manhattan office (633 3rd Ave.) and urge him to reject the Williams pipeline for good!

The Williams fracked gas pipeline, proposed for the shores of New York City, and Long Island, puts beach-goers, marine life, and our climate at risk. It keeps us reliant on fossil fuels and moves us away from our goal of transitioning to renewable energy. It also isn’t needed and was already rejected before! Now they are re-applying and trying again. We need to keep the pressure on!! New Yorker’s submitted over 25,000 comments opposing the pipeline to Governor Cuomo’s Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) in the weeks after Williams reapplied for the pipeline this summer. Now let’s pack the sidewalk at this rally and tell Cuomo that it’s time for him to finish the job and say “NO” to the Williams Pipeline!
