Talk&Taste: Evenings at Essex Street Market is co-presented by the NYC Compost Project, and hosted by the Lower East Side Ecology Center. Event will help attendees understand the ways in which zero waste can be achieved through reusing and composting organics. Panelists include representatives of the commercial, community, and municipal side of food waste! 6:30pm begins a tasting of Toast Ale, the award-winning beer brewed with surplus bread, and the panel discussion will folllow 7-8 pm.
