Saturday August 16th – Gardening in Port Washington at ReWild Garden

Organic vegetable gardening: We need help planting vegetables and distributing compost to get the garden started.
Establishing native plant beds: Native plant beds will come later this season as we re-design Dodge! But we are putting in some pussy willows, raspberries, switchgrass and other plants. And plant remediation (ie weeding).
Clearing the grounds: Prune trees and move branches to the wood pile. Lay out mulch!
Composting: Turn the compost pile, water, and mix the bokashi fermented food waste into the compost pile.
