Friday October 30, 2015 – Screening of “BAG IT”
When: Friday 10/30/15 screening starts at 6:30 pm. Doors Open at 6:00 pm.

Where: Rutgers Presbyterian Church at 236 West 73rd Street at Broadway, 5th Floor, New York City

Admission is free. They would appreciate any donation amount at the door, which will go to the Rutgers Presbyterian Church for their good works and their generous support of this movement.

Please join United For Action in watching this film. Here is a trailer for the film. Jennie Romer will lead a Q&A after the screening. Ms. Romer is an expert on laws (see her website that reduce the usage of toxic, single-use plastic bags. In New York City, she is part of a coalition that is working with City Council Members Brad Lander and Margaret Chin to pass legislation Int 209 that would impose a fee of not less than ten cents for each single-use carry-out bags.
