In 2003, Mike Tiedemann, CEO at Tiedemann Wealth Management, searched for a charity his office could pool resources to support. A colleague found the RIVER FUND online: It was described to him as a small, dedicated operation that fed and cared for impoverished neighbors out of the founder’s home in Queens. The synergy that emerged from Mike’s encounter with Swami, “has been incredible.” They now call it “the tiedemann effect2” describing it as the epitome of what the RIVER FUND’s Frontline Force stands for.
