Tech To Table:

Even when consumers identify healthy, sustainable options, geographic and socioeconomic barriers can inhibit access.

Industrial producers give ?high-tech food? negative connotations, but a rising vanguard of entrepreneurs is trying to change this?finding innovative ways to bring us back to basics. Their direct-to-consumer platforms democratize sustainable food, enabling better access and transparency for all.

Our panel will reveal business opportunities and challenges in food technology. ?Afterward, enjoy a networking reception with sustainable food from NYC restaurants.
Panelists:
  • Sarah Sclarsic, Director of Modern Meadow,?developing cultured animal products without the use of animals, providing more sustainable and better animal products.
  • Jared Koch, Founder of Clean Plates, a platform that shares stories and transparent recommendations that make it easier to find healthy, sustainable food in your city
  • Christopher Washington, Manager of Radicle Farms, delivering the only local gourmet salad you can cut fresh from home, thereby reducing waste and increasing quality
  • Rachna Govani, Co-Founder of Foodstand, the good food community living in your pocket, powered by eaters near you
