G&G Winter Markets will be opening its new Indoor Winter Farmer’s Market at the Jack Abrams School, 50 Tower Street in Huntington Station, starting Sunday, December 2, 2012.  The Market will run every Sunday from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, through April 28, 2013, and will feature local and organic produce from four Long Island Farms using season extension and hydroponic growing techniques as well as vendors with local artisanal breads, cheese, dairy products, fresh pasta, and much more.

Cooking demonstrations, talks by local authors, and other presentations will be a feature of this market.  A cooking demonstration by Derrick Prince from Fox’s Master Chef Season Two is already lined up (date to be announced).
