Volunteer with NYIS to remove invasive water chestnut and preserve Long Island’s lakes! This aggressive species wreaks havoc on our lakes’ delicate balance, crowding out native species and disrupting ecosystems. Help protect the activities that make Long Island special—from peaceful angling to adventurous kayaking. Join NYIS in safeguarding our local ecosystem’s health and ensuring our waterways can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Please complete the registration form, so NYIS can better coordinate their pulling effort.

After signing in, you will be contacted by email with additional information about the pulling days.
