Eating Green with Bhavani: Time to Get in the Garden and Plant this Year’s Crop!! Schedule a Cooking Class with your Friends! Seitan Cooking Class Coming Up, June 21st.

Time to Get in the Garden and Plant this Year’s Crop!! My Snow Peas and Sugar Snap Peas have been in since St. Patty’s Day, and my Lettuce and Onions went in mid April, but I just added my other seedlings like Broccoli, Swiss Chard, Kale, Collard Greens, Eggplant, Peppers, and Tomatoes. It’s helpful to know what plants do well together, and to consider companion planting to help with pest control and happiness in the garden!

We also added a few extra rows this year dedicated to the growing of flowers, particularly Dahlias, to add to my annual collection of Gladiolas! Having flowers you can cut and bring indoors throughout the season, just adds a bit of the sunshine into the home!

Schedule a Cooking Class with your Friends! I am so happy to, once again, be offering vegan cooking classes to my community. With a minimum of 8 guests, and a maximum of 12 guests, schedule your own personalized cooking class to celebrate a birthday, a shower, an anniversary, or just a fun evening with friends. We can customize the menu so you can learn how to make that favorite dish you have been dreaming of, and you and your friends can sit down to a gourmet, multi-course, plant based meal, prepared either in the iEat Green kitchen or in your own home. If interested, email me at Bhavani@iEatGreen.com.

Seitan Cooking Class Coming Up on June 21st from Noon to 5 PM- As a vegan, it is easy to buy good quality Tofu or Tempeh at the market, but try finding good Seitan, where you can cut it into a cutlet. It doesn’t exist, and the Seitan out there is a far cry from the delicious Seitan you can make at home. Come join my Seitan cooking class and discover all the things you can make with Seitan!
