Eating Green with Bhavani: Sharing Moments of Hope! Upcoming Cooking Classes, Slow Food Soirée & Fundraiser for Seth Koslow!!

Hi Everyone,

There is hope! After last week’s protests with over 5 million people taking to the streets in all 50 states for the “No Kings March”, we have a growing movement to save this country from an authoritarian, fascist administration. We need to keep showing up, signing petitions, writing letters, calling the White House, etc., even if it feels hopeless. The photos of all the empty bleachers for the DC Parade, vs. all of the photos of the crowds in every city across the nation, gives me hope!

This past Tuesday, I had the privilege of hearing President Obama speak at the Connecticut Forum. Now he was a president I could be proud of!!  The moderator was Heather Cox Richardson, an American historian and author, currently a professor of history at Boston College, and the producer of a wonderful newsletter that I recommend signing up for.

My Seitan Class is this Saturday, June 21st from 12-5 PM!

We will be hosting a fundraiser for him at our home in Old Westbury on Tuesday, July 1st, from 6-8pm. To RSVP, click here;
