Hi Everyone,
First, I want to apologize for the email blast that accidentally went out yesterday. I am still finding my way back to an iEat Green newsletter routine and mailing, and I forgot to pause my newsletter last week after I sent it out. This is the real newsletter for this week!
I love Summer! It’s the time of year where I am outside, socializing with friends, gardening, going to concerts, and having fun. This past Friday I got to experience the music of Jacob Collier at Central Park’s SummerStage. If you are not familiar with his music, I recommend checking him out. He was fantastic!!
On Saturday, I joined the “Rage Against the Regime” protest in Huntington. It felt good to be there, but the turn out was disappointing. The protest took place at the intersection of Jericho Tpk and Rt. 110, and there were people spread out on all 4 corners, maybe 100 people in total, but there should have been hundreds!

This past Monday was Slow Food North Shore’s Medicinal Herb Walk with Ellen Kamhi, the Natural Nurse. I’ve had the privilege of participating in her herbal walks before, and I always learn something new! We had a great group, and everyone enjoyed the time together.

Coming up on Thursday, August 21st, I will be teaching an Indian Cooking Class, which is one of my favorite cuisines! There is still space, so if you are interested, please send me an email to register.
