Recipe: Hummus

Ingredients
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 6 Tbs. water
  • ½ cup Tahini
  • 4 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs. chopped garlic
  • 1 Tbs. cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Tamari
  • parsley or cilantro
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, pulse chickpeas until blended
  2. Add water, and puree until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth
  3. Adjust seasonings for taste
  4. Garnish with olive oil, pine nuts and parsley or cilantro
