Recipe: Hummus
- 1 can chickpeas
- 6 Tbs. water
- ½ cup Tahini
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 Tbs. chopped garlic
- 1 Tbs. cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Tamari
- parsley or cilantro
- In a food processor, pulse chickpeas until blended
- Add water, and puree until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth
- Adjust seasonings for taste
- Garnish with olive oil, pine nuts and parsley or cilantro
