Over the weekend, the Trump administration unlawfully launched military attacks in Venezuela, seizing President Nicolás Maduro and his wife. We have witnessed this kind of aggression before—in Iraq and Afghanistan—where U.S. taxpayers paid the price and American troops were put in serious danger. The motivation is clear — it all comes down to oil.
We need to start mobilizing and organizing to stop this anti-democratic, lawless act of aggression. Here are some ways to fight back right now, as shared by Third Act:
THURSDAY, JANUARY 8
Cut The Fuel, Strike The Pump
Starting this week, there will be wildcat consumer gas strikes against the pump, until the U.S. commits to not occupying Venezuela.
Cut the Fuel commences on Thursday January 8th. Do not buy gas of any kind on January 8th. We will show these gas and oil companies our collective power. Then there will be “wildcat” dates released at random: to not buy gas, picket, and do local creative actions of your choice.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 17
