Hi Everyone,

I walked out this morning at 7:30 am to play tennis, and had to turn around to get a sweater because it was so cold! How is it possible that in mid August, it is 65 degrees in the morning? Just two days ago, it was 95 degrees and we were in the pool celebrating my two daughter’s and Elana’s engagement!!

The weather is crazy, but the fact that Fall is around the corner is real. As I get older, Summer just flies by, and there is never enough time for all the things I wanted to do. 

Indian Cooking Class Tomorrow!!

Tomorrow is the last of my Summer Cooking Series, and it is my Indian Cooking Class. I have a deep love for Indian food, and have enjoyed revamping all of my favorite recipes to be vegan. My pakora recipe is similar to my vegan potato latkes recipe, except I also use sweet potatoes, carrots, and Indian spices. I use tofu instead of the traditional paneer (Indian cheese) in my recipes, but I first roast the tofu so it takes on the spices of the dish.

Climate Week NYC 2025

Climate Week is coming to New York again from September 21-28

There are way too many events going on for me to list them all, so you need to go to the website and explore it on your own. The mission of Climate Week is to bring together leaders from the world of business, tech, politics, academia, and civil society that have the passion, means, the scale and the ideas to take bold action and create change.  

Many of the events are already sold out, so if you are interested in attending, check out the website. The  Opening Ceremony is on Monday, September 22, where major announcements, discussions, and interviews with international leadership from business, government, and the climate community will take place.
