While cuts are being made left and right to social programs, freedom of press, environmental programs, women’s rights, LGBTQ rights, etc. all in the name of saving taxpayer dollars, President Trump plans to host a parade for his birthday that could cost up to $45 million or more! This is an egregious use of our taxpayer funds. 

To pull focus from his despicable display of dominance, volunteers around the country are coming together to march and rally against authoritarianism. Below I have listed some of the local rallies, but you can find out about more locations on the Indivisible website.

Food and Water Watch has made it easy to urge our elected officials to support important legislation that is necessary to support the sustainability of our planet.  Right now there is a law making its way through Congress that was introduced in 2023 called the Farm System Reform Act. Its main goals are to end large-scale factory farms and support owners financially to transition to more sustainable agricultural work.

 

With all of the awful laws and executive orders that are being pushed through this corrupt administration, it is crucial that we support these laws that actually have our future and the planet’s future in mind.
