Community Solidarity is one of my favorite non-profit organizations and the largest all-vegetarian hunger relief food program in the country! They collect beautiful food from supermarkets, groceries, and bakeries, that otherwise might have been added to the food waste stream, and recovers it, in order to share it with members of the community who are in need. In the past 6 weeks, they have seen their lines at all of their food share locations, (Hempstead, Huntington Station, Wyandanch, Farmingville, and Brooklyn) quadruple! If you know anyone who is in need of food, please let them know about Community Solidarity!

They are now giving weekly groceries to over 10k people, and the numbers keep growing!
