DivestNY and their allies are organizing a Divestment Lobby Day at the Capitol!  

The day will start with a briefing at 10am, followed by a media event at 11 AM, to deliver 2,000 plus postcards calling for divestment to the State Comptroller, and in the afternoon there will be meetings with individual legislators and their staff to lobby for the Fossil Fuel Divestment Act.  

In the meantime, please reach out to your own legislators and to Comptroller Tom DiNapoli (518-474-4044) to urge them to support the Fossil Fuel Divestment Act (current bill numbers are A3712 (Ortiz) and S4596 (Krueger)—new bill numbers to be assigned in a couple of weeks!).
