Join the Nassau Land Trust, Crossroads Farm at Grossmann’s and the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island for their Thursday Night Movie Series featuring great films highlighting important issues with our food system. The evening will include the screening of an award-winning film followed by refreshments and discussion with experts in the organic food movement.

On Thursday, September 27th, come see Forks over Knives. A film focusing on research by two food scientists, this documentary reveals that despite broad advances in medical technology, the popularity of animal-based and modern processed foods have led to epidemic rates of obesity, diabetes and other diseases.
