Tell Obama to Reject the Keystone XL Pipeline

Keystone_XL_demonstration,_8-2011Rejecting the Keystone Pipeline would be monumental for the next coming President. By saying no to the pipeline now, we can shut down new fossil fuel infrastructure for good. He will be letting the world know that we mean business about wanting cleaner forms of energy. We don’t want more carbon bombs happening from unsafe pipelines, not to mention decades more of pollution. The new Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is FOR the pipeline, so we have to get it out of sight before he gets sworn in to power on November 4th, to really shut this down. Please tell Obama now to reject the Keystone XL Pipeline and help save our planet from further damage.

 Let’s Make GMO Labeling MandatoryUntitled

The US Senate had a hearing on GMO labeling, and although they have not made a decision yet, it’s clear that they have no problems with genetically modified food. We need to change their minds by calling, emailing and signing petitions for the cause. As Americans, we all have the right to know what’s in our food, and the Senate needs to hear our voices. There may not be overwhelming evidence yet, about the dangers of GMO’s, however, either way, we still have our rights as human beings, to transparency and choice. Let your voice be heard and donate for the cause.

Tell Your Governor to Create a Strong Plan to Limit Global Warming Emissions

SMOKE_STACKS_IN_BROOKLYN_-_NARA_-_548336Power Plants are the largest source of global warming emissions in the United States. You have an opportunity to tell your Governor that you are paying attention and you want cleaner energy for your state. In their Clean Power Plan, the Environmental Protection Agency has charged states with developing plans to meet their targets for reductions in carbon emissions. The details of these state-specific plans matter and could define our energy future for decades to come. That’s why we need to speak up and tell our Governor’s we want clean energy, tell yours right now.
