Ask Kellogg’s, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola and General Mills to Support Mandatory FDA labeling of GMOs

nongmo-300x300Large corporations such as these and other ones who are a part of the Grocery Manufacturers Association are all on the same page when it comes to GMO labeling. They want you, the consumer, in the dark. They don’t want you to know that their food contains GMO ingredients so they paid millions of dollars to make sure it stays that way.

If the DARK Act gets passed it means GMO labeling would only be voluntary, which means NONE of these big food corporations will participate, it would also make it illegal for individual states to label GMO’s. So please sign the petition.

Tell Ace Hardware and True Value to Stop Selling Bee-Killing Pesticidesbee flower spring calendula 420x280

Recently, there have been some big companies starting to phase out the selling of neonicotinoids in their stores, like Home Depot and Lowes, but there are other home improvement stores that continue to sell this bee-killing chemical.

American beekeepers reportedly have lost more than 42 percent of their hives since April 2014, and neonicotinoid pesticides are one of the leading causes of Colony Collapse Disorder. These poisons not only threaten bees, they jeopardize one third of the American food supply which relies on bees for pollination. Sign the petition now.

Help Stop Massive Food Waste In The US

GrocersCarrotsOnlyNearly 26% of fruits and vegetables are thrown away because they are not “pretty” enough to make it to the grocery store shelves. This is way too much food waste considering 17.6 million people were food deprived in 2013. But low income families can’t afford the high price of some fruits and vegetables, so they have no choice but to turn to fast food. We can help stop this trend by telling Walmart and Whole Foods to stop rejecting “ugly” fruits and vegetables. By offering these “uglies” at 30% off it will bring in more low income families and won’t contribute to food waste. Sign the petition now.
