People’s Climate March This Sunday, September 21st

FOOD JUSTICE AT THE PEOPLE’S CLIMATE MARCH

We are 4 days away from the historic People?s Climate March on Sunday, Sept. 21, 4 days until we become part of the biggest climate march in the United States and change the national discussion around climate change. As you all know, our food system is both one of the main causes of the climate disaster, and also can provide one of its solutions. It is of vital importance that we get as many concerned people as we can to march with us in solidarity to demand a just food system that rejects corporate control and establishes locally controlled networks of sustainable agriculture and processing with good jobs supporting social equality.

We will have music through our partnership with the Music contingent of the march, speakers such as Vandana Shiva, dancers, such as Elana Meta, and will be celebrating the joyous vision of what can be if we adopt a more sustainable and healthy food system. Below you will find information about our role in the march.
