iEatGreen: Interview with Dr Drew Ramsey

Hi Everybody,

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Drew Ramsey, an Assistant Professor for Clinical Psychology at Columbia University and author of two great books, The Happiness Diet and 50 Shades of Kale. It’s not very often that I meet traditionally trained western doctors that have made the connection between diet and health, particularly mental health, and how it effects their patients.

Well, Dr. Drew Ramsey, with his expertise in Nutrition, as well as Psychiatry, has specialized in Alternative and Complementary Treatments, and has seen first hand, how people can improve their mental health when they change their diet from white carbs, processed foods and cheap meat, to a more plant based diet, with lots of greens, high quality proteins, such as legumes, nuts, grass fed beef and wild seafood.
