iEat Green Wishes You All A Thanksgiving Filled With Love and Gratitude

Hi Everybody,

Even though I don’t have a show this Thursday, because of Thanksgiving, I wanted to still reach out and wish you all a very happy and joyful Thanksgiving and share with you some photos from Tuesday’s “Thanksgiving for the Homeless.” This was the 20th Anniversary of working with the River Fund NY Food Pantry to bring a home cooked Thanksgiving meal to some of New York’s most needy residents. It is a full blown community effort, with more than 80 volunteers helping to make it happen!? Please check out iEatGreen Facebook to see the album.

This Thanksgiving, make a special effort to take a moment to “Smell the Roses”, and focus on all that we have to be thankful for. Resist consumerism, stay away from the early Black Friday Madness, and instead savor the connections you have and surround yourself with loved ones. Take it all in! Breath Slowly, Eat Slowly, Feel The Serenity, Focus on Being Grateful, Hug Deeply, Take a Walk, Sing, Dance and then Do it Again!! If your overwhelmed with love, find a place to share it! There are many ways to give back to your community. Check out my “Take Action” section for some suggestions.

Have a great week, and a wonderful holiday!

With love and Gratitude,

Bhavani
