Hi All,

Oh how I wish there was a little more time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but alas, there is not, so…. here we go again!! If you missed our Thanksgiving Feast for the Homeless, christmas-3you can jump in and give us a hand for our Christmas Event. Or, if you joined us for Thanksgiving and want to also help for Christmas, we will be prepping on Sunday and Monday, Dec. 18th and 19th, and serving on the 20th. In addition to gathering warm weather clothing, we will collect new gifts for the children, (or “like new” stuffed animals) and “like new” jewelry, to give to the older children. If you have anything to donate, it can be dropped off at the iEat Green Homestead. If you prefer to make a tax deductible donation to the River Fund NY ( a 501 c-3 org), you can mail it to; The River Fund- NY , 89-11 Lefferts Blvd., Richmond Hill, NY. 11418

If you have any questions, you can call Bhavani at 516-238-3616

My guest this week on the Progressive Radio Network is Marie Oser, author of the new, and much needed book, The Skinny on Soy. The Skinny on Soy is Marie’s fifth book, and it lays to rest the continued questions about the safety of consuming soy products with peer-reviewed marie-oser-front-cover_rgb350research and common sense.  Marie is a healthy lifestyle expert with a focus on nutrition and its role in disease prevention. She has been vegetarian since 1971 and vegan since 1990, and left a career in television advertising to pursue her interest in food, health, nutrition and the environment. Marie is President, Host and Executive Producer of VegTV  and has been producing content since 2001. She is also Managing Editor at Ecomii, a leading environmental site with a popular blog channel, The Food and Health Alternative. Please join us on Thursday and find out the real truth about soy products!
