Today I had a wonderful conversation with Lorrie Clevenger, who is a long time food activist, co-owner and farmer at Rise and Root Farm in Chester, NY. Lorrie is currently the Development Coordinator for WhyHunger, a non-for profit organization that works to end hunger and poverty by connecting people to nutritious, affordable food and by supporting grassroots solutions that inspire self-reliance and community empowerment.
