iEat Green Shares Interview with Dr. Dana Cohen, Author of “Quench”

Hi All,

This morning I had a wonderful interview with Dr. Dana Cohen, about her new book, “Quench: Beat Fatigue, Drop Weight, and Heal Your Body Through the New Science of Optimum Hydration” (Hachette Books, 2018).  I found it fascinating to hear about the new research in her book, that talks about the benefits of hydrating your body, not with water, but with foods that contain water in a gel like state. This more viscous state of water, or structured water as she calls it, is able to hydrate your body better, and will not wash away your electrolytes or other minerals that your body needs.

In her book, there are many recipes that make use of the foods she highlights, like Chia Seeds, Aloe, Prickly Pear and Lychee Fruit. Check out some of her Green Smoothies or Chia Pudding!

Dr. Dana Cohen is a nationally renowned internal and integrative medicine specialist, whose multi-disciplinary approach has helped treat thousands of patients using a variety of conventional and complementary therapies.
